OSAKA

September 29 - October 2, 2018

We stopped thru Osaka enroute to Fukuoka and managed to hit it right when a typhoon was coming thru. Anyways, as always, we had great food in Osaka, saw some flowers before the storm came thru and also managed to catch a SoftBank Hawks game on the fly which was a cool experience. Much more organized than any American baseball games.

On our way back from the flower park, we decided to stop to catch a baseball game. All the sections were organized by team fans and each player had their own chant that the fans did while they were at bat. And there was no booing or hazing players. And the food was totally affordable, no price gouging b/c you’re at a professional sports game in Japan apparently!

At this one park, there was an old man and some young girls who came up to Allie and Cody and were mesmerized by Cody for some reason. The old man even asked to touch Cody’s feet as if he had some mystical baby powers.

We jammed all that in before the typhoon came thru. We kept Cody warm though! Meanwhile Jonathan wore shorts…

This homeless guy was ready for the typhoon to hit though. Talk about prepared.
